A rare case of giant broad ligament leiomyoma mimicking ovarian malignancy

Broad ligament leiomyomas are uncommon but when they occur can present in varying degrees of bladder and bowel obstruction. A definite diagnosis the broad leiomyoma was made after histopathological report specimen obtained operating patient. 45 years old female had a history pain abdomen increase abdominal girth for 6 months. On basis CT scan left adnexal mass made. She advised surgery subsequently 30 cm x 21 22 resected which weighed 11.05 kgs. : Hyaline degeneration 8 is most common among all secondary changes leiomyomas. However, dilemma caused by myxoid degeneration. In case there presence both hyaline This unique presentation mimicked ovarian malignancy staging laparotomy done.
